and the surge of adrenaline released becomes miniscule when compared to what you used to get from mashing the throttle. I daily drove an NA for 8 years, and modded it as best as I could afford. Days after buying my TT, I did pop, pulley, ecu, tp, dp, and exhaust. Just from going from the stage 5 NA to the stock TT, was very noticeable...ummm....torque is nice. With the mods, it was a whole new beast. I thought that I would be happy with it for a long time. After a couple months I went with a boost controller, and new suspension components...that helped, but the car doesn't feel all that fast anymore. I know that it is fast, but when I see people bug-eyed in the passenger seat when boost comes in in second gear, I wish that I could experience it the way they were....like the first time I boosted the car up through a few gears after getting the car modded up. Soon, you will find that more power isn't enough. Also, the faster you make your Z, the more mind-numbingly slow everything else you drive will feel. Even my motorcycle is starting to feel slower...maybe it just needs a turbo? Anyhow...I'm beginning to digress. My point is: If there is a level that is so fast that you can't "get too used to it", I definitely haven't been able to get there, nor do I see myself being able to afford it anytime in the near future. I would say, just mod away.....I guess if you are overcoming traction in every gear, then maybe that would be too much power...maybe
